Transition is the process of planning for life after school.

Your student’s journey may not be like others and may go in a different direction.

That’s OK!

Mercer County Quest partners understand this and are here to help guide your student towards a successful future.

WHERE DO I start?

ALWAYS start with your school district. Contact your student’s Intervention Specialist and Special Education Supervisor at:

Your school district can lead you to others who can help.

At What Age Should Transition Begin?

Age 14 at the latest.

Who will help us with this planning?

Your student's IEP team including any agencies that help support your student.

What services are available to help my student prepare for employment?

There are several. Your student's IEP team can help you determine which services are most appropriate.
